Start with the part you are wondering about.

Temporary by default

A guest address stays available for its displayed session and is never assigned to somebody else.

Accounts are optional

Register only when you want saved access, premium limits or persistent account controls.

Real email reception

ProteX Mail uses DNS, Cloudflare Email Routing and a dedicated inbound worker—not a simulated inbox.

ProteX architecture

Still have a question?

The answers below cover the most common cases. Priority and VIP support channels will appear inside eligible accounts.

  • Guest inboxes need no registration
  • Pro unlocks custom address controls
  • VIP adds higher storage and support limits
Why can a message take a few seconds?

The sender first hands the message to its own mail provider. After DNS delivery, ProteX processes and stores it; the inbox then discovers it on its three-second live cycle.

Can another person receive my old address?

No. Reserved addresses are unique in the database and are not reassigned to another visitor.

Do I need an account?

No for temporary mail. An account is required for saved inboxes, custom names and the future Pro/VIP account features.

Can ProteX send email?

The current product receives temporary email. Sending and permanent mailboxes require a separate outbound reputation, anti-abuse and compliance system.
